SKI HOLIDAY CHECK-LIST
There is no denying that your ski or snowboarding holiday is
going to involve a lot of 'kit', but it shouldn't have to cost the
earth. Below we have a checklist of basics that you will need as well
as some shopping suggestions.
- Comfortable underwear that you would wear for sports and/or
cold weather
- A thermal layer that takes away the moisture from the skin
- Goggles or sunglasses
- Hat (or helmets can be hired in Bansko) & waterproof
gloves or mittens
- Ski socks - ordinary socks can be uncomfortable in ski or board boots
- Slippers or comfy indoor shoes for indoor the chalet
- Swimming clothes for hot tub
- Comfy, waterproof jacket and trousers with room for movement
- Suncream & lipbalm
- Insurance for mountain sports
Labels such as Surfanic also offer good quality and attractive clothing without the high price tag of other brands.
